Razer has announced the Hammerhead V3 (and V3 X) HyperSpeed gaming earbuds with upgraded specs, but are otherwise designed for the same purpose: gaming. Note that this is the second generation of wireless earbuds from the Singaporean brand, despite what its name may suggest.

On top of Bluetooth standards (where the standard V3 HyperSpeed supports Bluetooth 6.0 while V3 X HyperSpeed runs Bluetooth 5.3), both earbuds also supports 2.4GHz wireless connection via a newly-downsized USB-C dongle for low-latency audio. Alternatively, the charging case also acts as the wireless receiver, where a USB-C cable can both charge the case and transmit wireless audio to the earbuds at the same time. Razer SmartSwitch is responsible for quick switching between connection modes.
The standard Hammerhead V3 Hyperspeed also features “50% improved” hybrid ANC over previous generation, whereas the V3 X does not; battery life is rated at 10 hours on the each earbud on both models, though case battery differs slightly – the V3 offers additional 30 hours, while the V3 X gets you 25 hours more for a combined 40 and 35 hours of battery life, respectively.

Other features shared across both models include THX Spatial Audio support on PC, touch controls, IPX4 ingress protection, while a built-in LED indicator (now RGB-themed) on the case display information like battery and connectivity status.
The Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed is priced at RM599, while the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed is priced at RM399, and both models are available through Razer’s official channels and selected retailers.
