RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose is under no illusions about the challenge they face in Manchester City.
RBL meet the Champions League holders tonight.
Rose said, The most important thing is to believe in ourselves at home, we want to be brave and face the challenge head on. We will do our best and use the opportunity to try to put City in difficulty in some areas of the pitch, score goals and not concede any.
"But many things have to go right for this to happen.
"It will have to be a top performance, we know how strong City are and what awaits us tomorrow even if they have lost the last two games.
I don't look at last season, those are old games even if we know we played well at home, while in the away game it went badly and it's needless to say that we weren't very happy with how it went. But this is a new season and we started well. They are a top team and we can't wait for tomorrow to challenge them, in the end we will always be eleven against eleven.
"Despite having several players out, they remain a very strong team which strengthened in the summer with Doku and our Josko (Gvardiole) who we have all seen how good he is. He has had no problems adapting to England and this doesn't surprise me because he is a quality and intelligent player."
Finally on Erling Haaland, he added: We haven't thought of a specific way to stop him, it's already difficult enough to play against him in the different phases of the matches. He is fast, good and lethal in the box and is a great shooter. We have to be careful in any part of the pitch with our defenders having to stay at attention and control it as best we can, I think they can do it, but we have to work as a team."
