RB Leipzig are eyeing Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.
The Sun says RBL were blocked from signing Mateta over the summer and are ready to try again next month.
The Germans hope his lack of game-time will make him available.
Mateta played for Palace in yesterday's 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool, scoring from the penalty spot.
RBL will seek an initial loan arrangement.
