Kota Kinabalu: Bongawan Assemblyman Dr Daud Yusof said the State Government should re-implement its rice planting project as in previous years.
He said Sabah has vast land for rice that had been used before but now abandoned due to several factors that must be resolved to ensure the effort to become a rice producer is achieved.
“We should start this as soon as possible, we have a large area, especially in Kota Belud previously proposed for the Sabah Rice Bowl project, which has not yet been realised.
