Manchester United midfielder Charlie Savage is heading for a one year loan to Reading.
The youngster, who is the son of former Premier League star Robbie Savage, will be playing in League One.
Savage has already made his senior debut for United, but is not considered first team material at present.
New Reading boss Ruben Selles wants to get Reading straight back up to the Championship this season.
Savage is seen as a huge talent who needs regular game time to hone his craft.
United will be hoping that a season of playing regularly in a tough league will see him improve his game.
