Everton have joined Brentford's interest in Real Betis attacker Assae Diao.

However, Betis sports chief Ramon Planes says Diao will only leave for his buyout clause set at 30m.

Planes declared: "We do not value offers for Assane, we are very happy with his emergence. We must remember that this player went to the final of the Copa youth team last year with Betis. There is interest in him, but we refer to his clause.

"I think he is in a period of evolution, there is no need to rush with him. This is normal for a player at 18 years old and playing as a starter.

"Assane is part of a great generation of youth players. And within that youth philosophy, we are very pleased about this youth player."
