Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini admits Isco has been the big bonus so far this season.
Isco has been a highlight in a struggling start to the season for Betis.
Pellegrini said, "I don't know if the word is 'surprising' because I see him training every day so I see why he is playing with that physical capacity, because he trains hard every day, because he demands a lot of himself, because he himself had a challenge that he is fully fulfilling.
"We are starting the championship, I hope he has a very complete year.
"But what Isco does is Isco's credit because he has pushed himself a lot to have the level he is showing."
