Real Betis midfielder Johnny Cardoso hopes Guido Rodriguez signs a new deal and stays.
The Argentina international comes off contract this summer and is being linked with Barcelona.
But Cardoso said: "I am very happy to feel the affection of the fans, it is reciprocal, but I hope that Guido stays with us.
"It is a pleasure to share the centre of the field with him."
The January arrival added: "I arrived a short time ago, I am very happy and my head and my goals are here at Betis.
"I want to continue like this, evolving at the club. My head is in Betis, I leave conversations of anyother type to my agents."
