Real Betis president Angel Haro says they plan to offer Guido Rodriguez new deal.
Haro admits they're pleased with the impact of the Argentina midfielder.
He said, We are very happy with his performance at Betis, he has a short contract left and we want to extend it.
"That's why we don't sit down to negotiate."
Haro was also asked about a permanent deal for on-loan Leicester City striker Ayoze Perez.
He added, "Let's see how the two parties understand each other, we will have to talk about many things when this stage is over."
