Real Betis signing Isco admits a chat with Joaquin helped convince him about the move.
The former Real Madrid and Sevilla midfielder signed for Betis this week as a free agent.
He said, "Very happy, the reception in the dressing room has been very good. I already knew many of them, so everything is very easy and very pleasant.
"Joaqun called me to convince me, but I was already convinced.
"Everyone has spoken to me very well of the club, the fans, the atmosphere in the dressing room that I can see through the networks of many colleagues that I follow.
"It has all been very easy and I can't wait to start."
