Are real-life-inspired movies and TV shows a form of “invasion” of privacy? If you have caught up with the hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer, the real-life “Martha” is NOT happy that her life is being exposed to the public.

A little bit of context without spoilers for those who have yet to watch Baby Reindeer. It shows the life of Donny Dunn, who is stalked by a woman, Martha since their 1st meeting at the bar where Donny works at. Martha even claimed herself to be a good lawyer.

Richard Gadd, the actor who created the show and played Donny Dunn was retelling his own experience through Baby Reindeer.

According to a report, the woman who claimed herself to be the real-life “Martha” is prepping for a legal showdown with the streaming company, and said that she’s “an attractive, competent lawyer”.

She also claimed that she had been receiving death threats after Baby Reindeer hit the top charts, and added that Richard was the one stalking her, and said the show was greatly exaggerated.

The unnamed real-life Martha, who has since relocated to London from Scotland made sure that everyone is well aware of her competency in the legal world.

“I’m a highly competent lawyer. I’d have to do it myself. I’m very good. I have a photographic memory and can memorise huge files. I was top in my school at everything.”

She is also NOT a fan of the actress who played her in Baby Reindeer – Jessica Gunning, saying that she is more attractive in real life.

“I am very attractive. Richard is not Brad Pitt.”

The 7-episode Baby Reindeer is now on Netflix, and if you have caught up with the show, what do you think of it?
