Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal admits he's keen to see coach Carlo Ancelotti sign a new deal.
Ancelotti's current contract expires in June and is being tipped to become Brazil coach in 2024.
But Carvajal says: "We all know what the world of coaches is like, I would renew him tomorrow.
"He knows that if nothing is won, his head falls and that of some players.
"He doesn't stop reinventing himself, analysing his games. For me we want him to stay."
On Champions League opponents Napoli, the fullback also said: "Napoli have changed the coach and the players will want to show up We will be prepared for any type of match.
"Within the field I always want to give the maximum, I can't do it any other way."
