Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez was delighted lifting the Super Cup in Riyadh.
The 4-1 win against Barcelona marked Nacho's first trophy as club captain.
He later said, "The hair stood up on the back of my neck. It's been a tough week with two very difficult games. At the end one of my dreams came true, which was to win my first title as captain. It's not the first, but it's special.
"We knew we were playing well. We've only lost one game all season. We're strong physically and mentally, and that's important in a match like this. It's not easy to go ahead so early against a side like Barcelona, but with our confidence, I do think it's understandable.
We're full of confidence, we're having a great season and this is very good for us to keep this momentum going and even get better."
