Raul intends to remain in charge of Real Madrid Castilla next season.
The Real legend has just seen his team fall on Sunday in their promotion playoff final against Eldense.
Castilla needed to win to reach the Segunda Division in yesterday's second-leg at Eldense, but a 2-2 draw saw them lose the final over two legs.
Raul is on a rolling 12 month deal and there has been talk of him being replaced by Alvaro Arbeloa.
However, the former club captain, 46, wishes to remain in charge for another year and expects to renew his deal in the coming days.
