Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced they could buy in January.
Ancelotti was speaking after seeing David Alaba suffer an ACL injury during victory over Villarreal.
He said: "We have a crossover injury. It is a shame and we are very sad. Another player falls and this has never happened to me. Three crossed in four months, it's incredible.
"What we have to do is what we have done. We are holding on and doing even more than everyone thought. This team holds, fights, is committed and is the only way to replace all players. In the next few days we will see if we can do something.
"(Aurelien) Tchouamni is the first option. It is not what we think of him, but in an emergency he can play. Marvel has trained with us many times. At the moment we are like this and after Christmas we will see what we can do."
