Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits they face a midfield restructuring after the sale of Casemiro.
Casemiro has left Real for Manchester United in a €70m deal.
Ancelotti said, "We have to think about the transition, it can be smooth or a little more forced.
"The veterans understand that and the younger ones have to show that they deserve a place."
On Aurelien Tchouameni, he added: "As I have said before, he is a player with very different characteristics compared to Casemiro.
"He played well today (yesterday) and he showed what he has shown us in training."
