Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti explained leaving Arda Guler on the bench for their 1-0 win against Sevilla.
Guler was overlooked late on as Ancelotti had Dani Ceballas enter from the bench instead.
The summer signing is still yet to make his debut and Ancelotti said: "I had a thought before the goal and I changed my mind after the goal and I preferred to bring on a more defensive player such as Ceballos.
"I think he understands it very well and if he doesn't, that's fine."
