Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says he wants to keep Arda Guler.
The summer signing from Fenerbahce has been linked with a move away this month.
But Ancelotti says: "He is progressing very well. He is on a good physical level and he will have minutes. Patience with him. There is a lot of pressure with him because there is an entire country like Turkey that wants to see him, but patience because he is only 18 years old.
"He will have time to play for Real Madrid."
On Luka Modric's situation, he added: "He is a football legend and the decisions have to be made by him.
" I said what I thought because I was asked why he was not warming up. He is a legend and only warms up if he's going to play."
