Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has paid tribute to Amancio Amaro.
The Real legend and honorary president passed away on Monday morning.
Ancelotti attended Amancio's funeral ceremony today and said: "I've been lucky enough to meet him. Two months ago we went to dinner with the veterans. We talked about football and he's been a spectacular Real Madrid legend. We have to honour him for this.
"A very kind and humble person. We have to keep him alive. The memory of a person who has done a lot for Real Madrid and for world football."
Ancelotti revealed his first memory of the footballer Amancio.
"When he played he faced Inter and, although I was very small, I remember that he was a danger. His duel with Giacinto Facchetti is one of the most beautiful I have seen," he said.
