Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits he rapped Vini Jr's knuckles during yesterday's Spanish Super Cup final win against Barcelona.
Ancelotti took off the Brazilian after he had scored a hat-trick.
He later explained: "He played very well. He has needed two or three games to return to his best level.
"Nothing was said. I don't like the heel. He and (Jude) Bellingham did it. Don't do it, it's not necessary."
On his 11th title as Real coach Ancelotti added: "Happy, but we have to fight for 12.
"It has been a special night, but in Madrid there are many special nights. That is the strength of this club."
