Real Madrid face being without David Alaba and Rodrygo Goes for the derby with Atletico Madrid this weekend.
Alaba and Rodrygo both left the field in discomfort against Liverpool and now face a race against time to see whether they can be fit enough for the clash at the Bernabeu this weekend.
The Austrian defender is almost certain to miss the game against Los Colchoneros. He was replaced in the first half by Nacho, who went on to have a solid game and could keep his place on Saturday.
Alaba is not long back from a previous injury and had played four straight full games since returning (Al Ahly, Al Hilal, Elche and Osasuna).
However, a training ground knock after a tackle by Eden Hazard in the build up to the Liverpool game has put him back on the sidelines after he was unable to make it to half time at Anfield.
Brazilian forward Rodrygo's case seems less serious, although he will also undergo tests to determine whether he can play against Atleti. He had to be substituted off in the 81st minute on Tuesday.
