Real Madrid midfielder Theo is now the Zidane with the most appearances for Castilla.
Against Mrida, the third of Zizou's sons played his 79th game with Castilla and surpassed the 78 that his brother Enzo had played.
A special day for the Zidane family, which did not have a happy ending as Ral's team were defeated. It was their fifth consecutive game without winning.
Enzo, Luca, Theo and Zinedine Zidane himself, who was coach for a season and a half, have passed through Catilla. Only Elyaz, the youngest of the brothers, missed out as he left Real Madrid's youth team for Real Betis last month.
Theo is now in his fourth season at Castilla, with whom he debuted in the 20-21 campaign.
