Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has paid tribute to departing midfielder Toni Kroos.
Kroos has announced he will retire after Germany's Euros campaign.
Florentino reacted today: "Toni Kroos is one of the great players in the history of Real Madrid and that this club is and will always be his home."
Also in today's announcement, Kroos said: "I would like especially thank President Florentino Prez, to the Club and to all those who received me with an open heart and trusted me.
"But above all I want to thank you, dear Madrid players, for your love and support from the first day to the last."
