Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been in contact with Girona striker Portu.
Portu was rushed to hospital after being injured in an ugly tackle from Real defender Nacho in injury-time on Saturday.
Nacho was sent off for the challenge and has since apologised.
Cadena SER says Florentino also contacted Portu by telephone to inquire about his condition and apologise for Nacho's actions, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Girona have since confirmed Portu avoided serious injury, with an ankle strain and a bruised backside suffered.
