Real Madrid have received a boost in exploring the prospect of signing Manchester City striker Erling Haaland this summer.

AS says Real Madrid will try to sign Haaland this summer, if nothing happens with Kylian Mbapp. PSG striker Mbappe is off contact in June.

It has previously been reported that Haaland's buyout clause at Manchester City is 200m.

But according to AS, the clause is closer to 100m than 200m for foreign clubs. It is not clear exactly what the price is.

For English clubs, the clause would be significantly higher.

Haaland's contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027.
