Spanish giants Real Madrid wanted to sign Arsenal defender William Saliba this summer.
Los Blancos were circling for the rapid and powerful French centre half as they look to revamp their squad.
However, talkSPORT states that such a move is not possible, as Saliba is committed to Arsenal.
The defender is set to sign a contract renewal that will hold him to the club until 2027.
At present, Saliba has a year remaining on his contract, having spent most of his present deal out on loan.
However, he is now firmly a first choice defender under Mikel Arteta and is happy at Arsenal.
