Real Sociedad striker Umar Sadiq's season is over.
The Nigeria international moved to La Real just a fortnight ago from Almeria.
But a serious knee injury suffered against Getafe has seen him ruled out for the season. A scan has shown a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Sadiq now faces potentially 7-9 months in recovery.
He had joined La Real for a club record €20m up front plus €5m in bonuses.
