Real Sociedad coach Imanol Algucil has hailed Takefusa Kubo after victory over Cadiz this week.
La Real opened their campaign with a win thanks to the on-loan Real Madrid midfielder's winner on Sunday.
Imanol said: "What I liked the most, apart from the goal, was his work, his involvement, his way of entering not only the game, but from the first day he arrived.
"I don't know if he knew me or someone has passed him reports mine, but it's as if he's been with us for three years. He's involved and hard-working, that's the best news."
Kubo also said: "The coach pushes me a lot, that's good. He can help me a lot, he can get 120% out of me. I want to thank him for trusting me on the first day."
