Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil admitted relief after their 1-0 win against Real Mallorca.
Brais Mendez grabbed La Real's winner with Imanol admitting they weren't at their best.
He said, "That's how it was. Yesterday I told you that the team was missing more points because of what it had done in other games and today, having probably played the worst game at home, we achieved victory.
"We lacked a lot. In the first half we didn't do what we trained, in the second half we were better, we made it 1-0 and we had a chance for the second, but we suffered."
The Txuriurdin coach also gave credit to Mallorca.
"They have done a brutal defensive job, but the first half has not convinced me, we have lacked daring and success, and to beat a team like them you had to be daring and precise with the ball, and have success.
"In the second half we were better, I think the 1-0 was fair and we had chances for the second, but we didn't achieve it and, with Mallorca's (Vedat) Muqiri up front, a team that makes many crosses with goals, it was clear that we were going to suffer until the end."
