Real Sociedad are set to beat Villarreal to the signing of Atletico Madrid fullback Javi Galan.
Galan was set to join Villarreal, but La Real stepped in yesterday after the injury suffered by Aihen Munoz.
Marca says Atletico and La Real are now close to settling terms on a loan for Galan to the end of the season.
Galan was in Atletico's squad for last night's win against Granada.
However, Atletico are happy to release the defender on-loan to La Real for the remainder of the campaign.
