Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition: Priced at RM2,699, only 5,000 units worldwide

After weeks of teasing, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is finally here. This limited edition crossover between the smartphone manufacturer and Warner Bros Discovery brings with it not just a new look for the Realme 16 Pro, but also the world’s first Quadra Light-Sensing Color-Changing back panel, which showcases all four crests of the Hogwarts schools under sunlight.

The device itself has a brown argyle leather finish to it, inspired by the chess scene, along with a Hedwig-inspired camera deco, while a ‘Welcome to Hogwarts’ slogan has been laser engraved onto the metal mid-frame itself. Booting up the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition meanwhile will reveal a Hogwarts-themed UI, with custom wallpapers and app icons as well as animations to complete the experience.

On top of that, you’ll find a limited edition collection box too, designed to be a 1:1 replica of Harry Potter’s iconic trunk. It comes with a complete set of merchandise, which includes the Hogwarts acceptance letter, a Platform 9¾ train ticket, bookmarks featuring the four house crests, character postcards, a phone case embossed with the Hogwarts logo and a phone pin.

Complementing the Realme 16 Harry Potter Edition is the Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition, a pair of true wireless earbuds that come in a Hogwarts-inspired brown colourway. There’s also a mini charging case designed to be a tiny replica of the Harry Potter trunk along with a knitted crossbody strap for you to lug it around.

The Realme 16 Harry Potter Edition is priced at RM2,699, while the Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition is priced at RM399. Both are available at Realme Brand Stores and authorised dealers nationwide, as well as from Realme’s official Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop stores; do note though that the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition will be limited to just 5,000 units globally.

As part of the launch, Realme is also hosting a special pop-up experience at Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid from now till 27 September. You’ll not only be offered a chance to purchase the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition there, but also get free gifts worth over RM1,200 and a change to win a new motorbike too. The pop-up itself will be hard to miss, as it’s designed to resemble Hogwarts’ Great Hall and its four house common rooms, with activities for visitors and fans to take part in.
