Harry Redknapp insists his Tottenham team was superior to the current Spurs side.
Almost 12 years ago to the day, AC Milan arrived in north London a goal down in a last-16 tie that Tottenham went on to win despite being the much-less fancied side.
This time around the roles are reversed with Milan the underdogs and a goal up on Antonio Conte's side, which Redknapp believes to be of lesser quality than the line-up he assembled as manager.
When asked by TMW which team he thinks is better, Redknapp replied: Mine.
And I think if we had Harry Kane we would have been an incredible team. Imagine him with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric."
Along with Bale and Modric, Redknapp's side featured the likes of Rafael van der Vaart, Jermain Defoe and less revered players including Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Alan Hutton.
