Xiaomi has finally revealed their new REDMI Note 17 series on the global stage, including its first ever ‘Pro Max’ model with the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G. Featuring some of the largest batteries that have ever been in a REDMI Note smartphone, they’ll be formally launched in Malaysia very soon on 2 September, but you can already secure yours by pre-ordering them.
Available for pre-order from now till 4 September at all Xiaomi stores, and from 2 September to 4 September from the Xiaomi Malaysia website as well as the official Xiaomi stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, you’ll only need to pay an upfront, non-refundable deposit of RM100 to secure your device. The models currently available for pre-order include:
- REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G 256GB
- REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G 512GB
- REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G 256GB
- REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G 512GB
Pre-orders will come with an exclusive RM300 discount, as well as a pair of REDMI Headphones Neo and a Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active, all while stocks last. Other pre-order perks include two months of YouTube Premium, six months of Google One, five years of battery warranty, three years screen protection and two years of liquid damage and back cover warranty.
On top of that, Xiaomi will be holding a special event at the Xiaomi Store at The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur on 5 September. Those who pre-order will be able to collect their device there from 10AM onwards as well as stand a chance to join a meet and greet session with Meerqeen, the REDMI Note 17 series Malaysia ambassador.
