Former Southampton captain Nathan Redmond has revealed he spoke to Dele Alli before completing a transfer to Besiktas.
Redmomd signed for the Turkish side on Thursday, ending his six-year stay with Southampton, and will now link up with the the Everton loanee.
Explaining his decision to leave the Premier League, Redmond explained how he reached out to Dele for advice.
"We talked to Dele," the 28-year-old told Turkish media. “He spoke to me a lot about the atmosphere here and the interest people have in him.
“Of course, that was one of the feelings we wanted to experience for me and my family."
