Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Panwar chairs the monthly District Public Relations and Grievances Redressal Committee meeting in Kurukshetra.

Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Panwar has directed the Assistant Registrar to get an FIR registered against the people behind unauthorised recruitment at the Kharindwa Deeg Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) Limited.

The minister also directed the District Registrar to produce the report related to the Kirmich Cooperative Society, where a manager has been suspended over similar irregularities, at the next meeting.

Chairing the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Kurukshetra on Friday, Panwar asked the officials to ensure that no subordinate is sent to attend the meeting of the grievances committee. “I humbly request all officials not to send the subordinates to the grievances committee meeting. If any subordinate is found at the meeting, he will be sent back. In case of any emergency, the official must report to the Deputy Commissioner first or talk to me, and only after getting the permission the official will be allowed to leave the station. If heads of departments failed to turn up at the meetings, action will be taken against them,” the minister said while chairing his first meeting after the recent reshuffle.

Panwar directed the officials to ensure that the grievances received at the meeting must be resolved on priority. The pendency of 8-10 months will not be tolerated. The issues must be resolved in maximum of two meetings and action taken report in each case will be taken, he added.

The minister also issued instructions in cases related to illegal possession of a house, arrest of an inspector and sub-inspector of Food and Civil Supplies Department in a complaint regarding irregularities in operations of a depot and construction of a road at Tangore village.

Panwar issued directions for removal of encroachments from a park of a Housing Board Colony. He also directed the Roadways GM to operate an electric bus from Kurukshetra bus stand to Yamunanagar at

7 pm.

The minister said 12 complaints were listed at the meeting, of which six were resolved while the remaining had been kept pending for the next meeting.

The officials have been directed to resolve the complaints and present the reports in the next meeting.

He also asked the complainants not to talk to officials disrespectfully.

Thanesar Congress MLA Ashok Arora, Shahabad MLA Ramkaran Kala, Pehowa MLA Mandeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, SP Chander Mohan and other officials attended the meeting.
