SANDAKAN: Information and awareness about eye care needs to be continuously conveyed to the community.
The Sabah People’s Development and Welfare Minister, Datuk Shahelmy Yahya, said this was because the eye had an important role in every aspect of human life with specific functions.
“If the community does not care about eye care, it will cause vision problems and further worry the situation will be worse towards blindness,” he said.
