Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno urged the Kadazan Dusun Murut and Rungus (KDMR) ethnic group to reject calls in social media against supporting Malaya-based parties for the sake of Sabah’s sovereignty.
It said it is determined to empower them by elevating their presence at Federal level that could result in more project grants.
Speaking at a KDMR empowerment forum, Sunday, Sabah Umno Deputy Chief, Datuk Yakub Khan said they should reject sentiments that disseminate the separation of Sabah from Malaysia as a nation.
