Birmingham City have announced the dismissal of manager Wayne Rooney.
The Blues sit 20th on the Championship table and has only won two out of 15 games under Manchester United great Rooney.
The club's chief exec Garry Cook announced today: "We are determined to do what is necessary to bring success to St. Andrew's.
"Unfortunately, Wayne's time with us did not go as planned and we have decided to go in a different direction.
"The search for a successor will begin with immediate effect and we will update supporters as we have more news."
