“May this step inspire the entire entertainment industry to continue creating with a gentler heart, full of responsibility and love for the community,” he said in a statement today.

Music video removed after it was deemed too provocative

Yesterday, Universal Music Malaysia removed Dolla’s latest MV titled Question from YouTube after it sparked widespread debate for being deemed too provocative.

Mohd Na’im stated that all parties carry the trust to build an ecosystem that not only thrives on creativity but is also guided by manners, courtesy, and respect.

According to him, this responsibility aligns with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani and the Al-Falah Transformation, which emphasise a balance between artistic expression and noble values.

“In the world of art, creativity is its lifeblood, and it is not wrong, indeed, it is beautiful. However, its beauty shines brighter when woven with grace, Eastern values, and sensitivity to the feelings of society,” he said.
