Rennes coach Bruno Genesio admits some frustration being blocked from signing Samuel Umtiti.
Genesio spoke to RMC where he explained the reasons that inclined his club to reject the signing of the defender. Asked if there were any doubts about his physical condition, he acknowledged "yes, it was a bit like that."
In the same way, the French coach, who spent a season with Umtiti at Olympique de Lyon, said he was convinced that he could "take him back to his best level because he is a boy I know very well, he is a great worker and there is no reason why he could not rediscover a good level."
