PETALING JAYA: A group representing veterans of the police’s Orang Asli unit has lodged a report on the alleged use of a derogatory term against Cameron Highlands MP Ramli Nor on Facebook.

The report, filed yesterday by Bah Bi Bah Kerundang, who leads the Senoi Praaq police veterans’ association, concerned a Facebook comment which allegedly used the term “sakai” and belittled Ramli’s intelligence.

He said the comment was insulting to Ramli, Malaysia’s sole Orang Asli MP, as well as the indigenous community, and called for action against the Facebook user.
