Bayer Leverkusen are close to agreeing on a deal with Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola, the Kicker sports magazine said.
Iraola would replace Kasper Hjulmand, who's reportedly on his way out despite a contract until June 2027 after Leverkusen failed to qualify for the Champions League.
The Bundesliga club was reportedly in talks with former Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis but according to media reports, he has reached an agreement with Monaco.
Iraola has spent the last three years at Bournemouth and led the club to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League this season, securing their first-ever spot in the Europa League.
His contract with Bournemouth is set to expire next month and he had previously announced he would leave the club.
