Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian People’s Power Movement (G57) and members of the Sabahans Rise Coalition Movement will file police reports throughout Sabah against Bersatu Deputy President Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
This follows a viral video in which Hamzah reportedly hurt the feelings of Sabahans by using the word “palui” which means stupid, during a recent rally, here.
Advertisement (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});G57 Chairman Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar said the insult may be aimed at Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, but on principle would stand in solidarity against any insult aimed at Sabahans.
“The insults hurled by Hamzah aimed at Sabahans are considered rude and insolent. Police reports will be made starting today (Friday) so that strict action is imposed.

Zulkarnain, who is also the Chief Adviser of the Sabahan Rise Movement, pointed out that previously visual activist Fahmi Reza had also insulted Sabahans by drawing mocking caricatures of the Sabah Governor that aroused the anger of its people.

“This should be stopped by preventing them from setting foot in Sabah,” he stressed.
