
Kota Kinabalu: Some 100 cyclists from different age groups and backgrounds raised funds for sports equipment for Kitobu Inanam Primary School and Kaiduan Papar Primary School.
The 17-km “cycle for Charity” was part of Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort’s 40th jubilee.
The schools were part of the resort’s adoption programme.
A Shangri-La Tanjung Aru spokesperson said the event “exemplified the resort’s commitment to community engagement and its dedication to making a positive impact on the local schools it has adopted”.
