  • Jordan Henderson has paid an emotional tribute to his former Liverpool teammate Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday along with his brother Andre.
  • Henderson, visibly upset, visited Anfield on Friday, carrying a bouquet of flowers and a team scarf.
  • He laid the items outside the stadium and left a note that read: "Rest in peace my friend, along with your brother Andre. We will all miss you."
  • Jota played alongside Henderson at Merseyside for three seasons following his arrival at Liverpool in 2020.
