Liverpool are not ready to add to their squad as they try to find a new manager.
The Anfield club are focused on ensuring they identify and secure the successor to Jurgen Klopp.
Per Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepulveda, they are not preparing bids for players as yet.
He tweeted: "Liverpool will not negociate (sic) any players until everything is agreed with the new coach for next season.
"Rubn Amorim [current Sporting CP head coach] is in pole position for the job."
The Reds had hoped to hire Xabi Alonso, but he is staying at Bayer Leverkusen.
