Manchester City have failed with a bid for PSG midfielder Warren Zare-Emery.
France 5 reports City tried with an offer of 60m in the summer, which the Parisians immediately rejected.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khalifi personally intervened to throw out the bid.
Al-Khelaifi is a big fan of the youngster and his decision has been rewarded with Zaire-Emery's form this season.
The youngster is on the brink of being called in the France squad by coach Didier Deschamps this week.
