One of Arsenal's Premier League rivals attempted to sign Wiliam Saliba this summer.
The 22-year-old is close to securing a long term stay with the Gunners after agreeing on a new contract.
Per The Sun, Saliba will earn 200,000-per-week, with the deal running to the summer of 2027.
The club will also have the option to extend that contract by a further year.
Saliba, per RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, was a target for Manchester United.
The Red Devils and Bayern Munich attempted to steal the Frenchman, but he has remained committed to Arsenal.
