Manchester City star Erling Haaland does have a release clause in his contract.
That is according to The Athletic, with the outlet revealing details about a potential exit strategy from the Norway international.
Haaland signed for City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, and is taking the Premier League by storm.
He reportedly has a £175 million release clause in his contract, which would allow other teams to speak with him without City's okay.
However, the clause is only valid for teams that are outside of the Premier League.
His five-year contract includes the clause that kicks in during the summer of 2024.
That means Haaland cannot move through the clause this coming summer, while he can never move to another Premier League team that way from City either.
