- The NTAs feature an all-female drama performance shortlist for the first time, with Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones among the nominees.
- Authored documentaries highlighting the personal stories of Sir Chris Hoy, Caroline Flack and Ozzy Osbourne have also earned places on the shortlist.
- Hosted by Joel Dommett for the sixth time, the live awards ceremony will take place at The O2 in London on Tuesday 8 September.
